This event is sponsored by NSC and its Iraq Refugee Assistance Committee (IRAC). IRAC volunteer members are available to speak to area community groups regarding Iraq refugees in the Middle East and in the US. The committee is made up of students, teachers, people from the faith community and business community, as well as Iraqis who have been here for years, and others who have arrived in the last six months.
My heart goes out to all those
in Iraq who have been harmed by this war. I believe we could help by discovering if monies have been allocated for their welfare by the U.S. gov't, and accountability for such monies. This could well include monies allocated within Iraq through contractors and to people in the gov't there.
Hope to see you on June 21.A.Specter (arnpeace
